Last Night of the Proms
At 7pm on Saturday, 28th September, the Farnborough Concert Band of the Royal British Legion are returning to the Victoria Halls, Hartley Wintney, RG27 8RQ for our annual September concert. This year we are excited to present to you a ‘Last Night of the Proms Celebration’ concert with special guest, and local vocal Soloist, Olivia Barr. All waving materials are strongly encouraged for the traditional last night of the proms style second half!

This concert will be hosted by the Bordon Lodge of the Freemasons and is to support the Royal British Legion’s Poppy Appeal. There is no entry charge for this concert but please give generously to the retiring collection. The Band will play a mix of music in the first half and then we will turn to remember the service and sacrifice of all those who have defended our freedoms and protected our way of life.
The doors and bar open at 6.30pm
A 30-minute intermission will be held at approximately 8:15pm and the concert should end
just after 9:30pm. A retiring collection will be held and 50% of all proceeds will go towards the
Royal British Legion poppy appeal. The remainder will go to the band.

We are holding a Open Day for prospective new members and to encourage youngsters to play music.
At no cost to those attending, the participants bring their own lunch but drinks and cake provided.
